Business Achievement Awards
LEVELS OF BAA:
1 - Sign up with Coach Wilson to get your login & password.
2 - Choose your activities you want to complete (some are required).
3 - Complete your activities.
4 - Report back to Coach Wilson when you've completed all steps for verifcation and submission.
Each level contains a different set of activities, and takes different amounts of time and focuses on different things.
FUTURE - 10 activities - focuses on basic business skills, introduction to community service, and FBLA involvement at the local (chapter) level. Time to complete: approx. 1 month (or less).
BUSINESS - 12 activities - focuses on local, regional and state membership involvement, practices intermediate business skills, and promotes leadership in the community. Time to complete: 1 month (or less).
LEADER - 14 activities - focuses on local, regional, state, and national involvement; practices advanced business skills and promotes active community leadership. MUST RUN FOR STATE or NATIONAL OFFICE to complete this level. Time to complete this level: approx 1 semester.
AMERICA - 15 activities - focuses on total association leadership, business skills, and involvement in community. Time to complete this level: 1-2 semesters.
HOW DO I COMPLETE BAA?
WHAT ARE BAA?
BUSINESS ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS are individual activities that you complete so that you can further your knowledge, skills and abilities related to successfully doing business. You'll practice skills in writing, reading, presenting and research.
For each level you complete, you will receive local points toward graduation cord, state recognition at the State Leadership Conference, and a lapel pin and certificate.
WHY SHOULD I COMPLETE BAA?
1 - You HAVE to complete at least Future Level of BAA to be eligible for the graduation cord and/or officership.
2 - It's required for all of Coach Wilson's classes - you might as well get it over with! :)
3 - If you're serious about a future in business, these activities will give you experience with skills that will set you apart from all the other students competing against you for jobs, scholarships, and internships.
