FBLA SCHOLARSHIP $1000-$2000

Eligibility Requirements:

 

  • Applicant must be a graduating senior

  • Applicant provide current, official transcript showing at least a 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)

  • Applicant must submit a resume that demonstrates participation in FBLA/PBL and community service

  • Applicant must include two letters of recommendation (one must be from the chapter adviser)

  • FBLA applicants must provide proof of application/acceptance to a postsecondary institution

Eligibility Requirements:

 

  • Must be a business, marketing and/or finance student

  • Must be currently enrolled in their junior and senior years of high school.

  •  MUST BE NOMINATED BY A BUSINESS TEACHER!!

 

TO APPLY:
 

1) Write a 1-page application essay in MS Word explaining what you have gained from your technology experiences within your business, marketing or finance classes.

 

2) Attach your essay to an email to Coach Wilson or Mrs. McBride. The subject should be Virtual Business Scholarship Application and the body should include a message asking for our nomination and why we should nominate you. 

 

EMAILS FOR NOMINATION ARE DUE BY FEBRUARY 1.

Virtual Business Scholarship - $2000

This scholarship is designed to recognize outstanding FBLA members for their activity and involvement in the association. The number of scholarships given depends on yearly contributions to the FBLA scholarship fund.

 

Criteria:

Open to graduating FBLA members who plan to pursue a post-secondary education and become actively involved in PBL at the postsecondary level.


   â€¢ Must be a dues-paid member of FBLA.


   â€¢ Must have achieved the Leader or America level of the Business Achievement Awards (BAA).


   â€¢ Must submit Distinguished Business Leader Interactive Scholarship Form (link is below).


   â€¢ The completed form and a one-page cover letter summarizing FBLA-PBL, business, leadership, and community activities, a resume outlining FBLA-PBL activities and educational achievements, and one letter of recommendation from a chapter adviser, a teacher, or a business/community leader must be submitted to the national center.

 

RECEIPT DEADLINE: APRIL 1.

FBLA Distinguished Business

Leader Scholarship  - $500

Eligibility Requirements:

 

 

  • Must be a graduating high school senior.

  • Must be entering their freshman year at an accredited two- or four-year school in the fall of 2016.

  • Students must own or operate their own small business.

 

TO APPLY:
 

1) Submit an essay. (Finalists will be chosen between October and December).

 

2) Finalists will be participate in an interview January - March.

 

APPLICATIONS WILL BE OPENED OCTOBER 1.
